Each students must choose one of the following research topics: Algebra, Analysis and Geometry, Combinatorial Mathematics, Industrial and Financial Mathematics, and Statistics.

For students who choose :

  • Algebra : The Compulsory Course I is Module Theory, the Compulsory Course II is Group Theory.
  • Analysis and Geometry : The Compulsory Course I and II can be chosen from these four courses : Complex Analysis, Fourier Analysis, Lebesgue Measure and Integration, Functional Analysis.
  • Combinatorial Mathematics : The Compulsory Course I and II can be chosen from these three courses : Graph Theory, Algebraic Graph Theory, Association Schemes.
  • Industrial and Financial Mathematics : The Compulsory Course I and II can be chosen from these four courses : Dynamical System, Financial Mathematics, Optimal Control Theory, Advanced Partial Differential Equations
  • Statistics : The Compulsory Course I is Advanced Stochastic Process, the Compulsory Course II is Measure and Probability.
