June 18 – 20, 2013
Institut Teknologi Bandung The Newton Hotel, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia.
The EASIAM conference gathers researchers in applied mathematics with respect to science, engineering and technology. The scope of the EASIAM conference covers all aspects of applied mathematics to science, industry, engineering and technology in the East and South East Asia. EASIAM meetings have been held in Hong Kong, Sapporo, Xiamen, Daejeon, Brunei, Kuala Lumpur, Kitakyushu, and Taipei.
EASIAM is a section of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). It promotes basic research and education in mathematics, which supports science and technology.
The Conference on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CIAM) is a regular event held by the Industrial and Financial Mathematics Research Group, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, ITB. The group are actively involved in developing interdisciplinary networks between mathematician and other professionals or scientists in solving real-world problems using mathematical modeling. This conference is one of the forums to enhance the process of pursuing the aim.
Topics to be presented in the conference are related to the following fields:
- Applied ODE & PDE
- Applied Harmonic Analysis
(Imaging and Image Processing)
- Applied and Numerical Linear Algebra
- Optimization and Control Systems
